The primary role of the Regional Sales Engineer is to develop new business for advanced power quality meters and solutions in Eastern Europe, Russia and former soviet union countries by providing information on the products and solutions to customers’ key endpoints. This is an ideal position for an engineer (B.Sc./B.Eng.) who has deep interest in power quality, renewable energy and data analysis. Additionally, it is necessary to have strong computer skills. Exceptional oral and written communication skills are required. Passion for scientific innovation is a must.Prior sales experience is strongly desired but not required for this position.
Sales (70%)
·         Achieve and surpass all quarterly and annualized sales target numbers.
·         Support the sales objectives by researching customers’ needs and providing solutions in a professional and effective manner
·         Manage designated sales leads, prospects and customer accounts in line with agreed business objectives
·         Follow-up on all sales opportunities within a timely manner
·         Provide support for existing channel partners
·         establish new channel partners in the designated territory
·         Manage and report sales bookings, potential sales, customer feedback and activity plan and other reports as required
Technical (30%)
·         Provide answers to pre-sales technical and commercial queries
·         Perform demonstrations of our power quality meters and solution products
·         Conduct training, seminars and workshops on our products and solutions to channel partners and end users as required to support sales objectives


Mandatory qualifications:
·         A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
·         Excellent oral/written communication skills in English and Russian
·         Well-developed presentation skills both one on one and in front of a large group of audience
·         Excellent customer relationship management and ability to build good business relationships across a wide variety of cultures and personalities
·         Strong interpersonal skills and pleasant personality
·         Advanced problem solving ability
·         Ability to travel up to 30% of the time including international travel
·         Flexibility to work outside traditional work hours when required
·         Regular attendance is an essential job function
·         Fluent in all Microsoft Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
·         Experience in pre-sales, sales or product management
·         knowledge in MS SQL and other DB platforms
