-Write, implement and monitor company Quality Assurance procedures Work with Engineering and Production to identify, and resolve non-conforming product -Collect and report to management on a variety of statistical data such as returned products, repaired product, safety issues and product defects with reasons. -Develop and implement safety training for SHS personnel -Monitor activities that have an effect on our environment and develop procedures to properly handle them -Maintain equipment calibration schedules -Maintain MSDS log -Maintain SBD online reporting along with implementing actions to maintain corporate goals -Investigate and write corrective and preventative actions to resolve quality issues. Utilize advanced quality techniques such as PFMEA/DFMEA, statistical sampling, root cause analysis, process capability, Gage R&R, GD&T, etc.
Education: -Engineering or Engineering Technology degree required –Electronics/Electrical & Mechanical experience required – (3-5) years in a manufacturing environment preferred -(3-5) years in a QA manufacturing position required
Skills: -Strong qualitative problem recognition and solving abilities. -Experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access and PowerPoint -Solid experience in tolerance analysis methods Capable English oral and written communication skills required -Ability to travel globally required at times -Ability to work beyond the normal time windows when required. -Experience in electronics assembly preferred -Other duties as directed
